Allport（1937）：（Gordon W. Allport 美國人格心理學之父） 

「the dynamic organization within the individual of those psychophysical systems that determine his or her unique adjustments to environment」

人格是個體內俱動力的身心組織，為一有系統的、為適應環境、個人獨具的組織。
